Certainly nothing from Chemical Guys that is marked up 1400% or more. I use the nice fluffy ones from Sam's Club and those are probably the Costco ones as well. While it has a lot of fine fibers for a good plush soft effect, it is not overly crowded tight. Such a type of MF cloth is not as good for removing dirt or wax as a less tight surface. The tight plush ones do hold more water though and that is the only place where they excel. Otherwise, they just generate excess profit for the sellers.
Sam's Club is like 36 MF cloths for $16, so it is less than fifty cents per sheet. They wash well and have two different sides. One is a short closed nap and the other is a long fluffier fiber side.

OP using Chemical Guys as an example is phail. They are the ones that sell that $2000 paste wax too. There's more money spent in the packaging than in the wax. And the container also costs more than the raw materials in the wax.
Do you guys buy new towels every time you wash your car?
