Even with repairs (worst case scenario) the civic would cost half as much as a 13k mazda 3. Insurance and property tax would be more on the Mazda. It would need repairs every now and then too. Retrofit an aux jack with the stock radio and the civic is just as good. Then save your money for a car that's actually good. Or a house.

Yea it's crazy how much they dropped off. I'm not really sure why, probably because the ST coming around and taking up more of the market than it. Shame, can call me biased but I think it's the most fun of the hot hatches and easily has the most power/room to mod (Pre rs at least).
