yep, driver
I remember driving speed limits in free mode so as not to get fucked with by police kek
also dat
At school, during every single break.
The first one I really cared about. Wish it was still around.
This game was a fucking blast and even now is still pretty fun.
It was also kinda creepy. it was kinda eerie and unsettling and whenever that green dude in the flying saucer would randomly crash into me it would scare the shit out of me.. there was no background music (which i liked since it added a whole new atmosphere to the game and made it easier to concentrate.
You would complete different task and unlock more cars along the way. IMO it is one of the greatest driving games of its time. graphics aren't bad either and unlike a lot of games it is still easy on the eyes and doesn't look like pixelated low res garbage though maybe its because i played a later release on disk for PC and it supposedly first came out on Atari ST.
All hail the king
Great game.

I played the fuck out of Midtown and Midtown 2. Nostalgia'd hard. At the time, the novelty of open-world cruising was irresistible. Great community too, so many fucking add-on cars and mods- hell, even the game's own cheat codes were impressive, especially in the first one.
I remember for the first Midtown there was a cop mod that added CVPIs, Jeeps, and I think Suburbans to the vanilla game's standard Mustang police NPCs.
Also played Midtown 2 online in the "MSN Gaming Zone", cops and robbers was the shit. Though, multiplayer could sometimes get stupid because nothing could keep up with the Panoz GTR in that game. Plus, the game couldn't stop cheaters from using downloaded cars.

Don't remember much about it, except for it having baller music which you could listen to by putting the cd-rom in your cd player.

Gt1 on the demo disc with einhander iirc. Bought both, no longer have gt1 but einhander ahh yeah. I spent more hours in gt2 then any other game.
>technically first driving game was something we had on our ms3.1 machine, I was 3-4 though.

and then first Colin McRae Rally which I loved and with which I lost any respect for NFS series forever.
CMR was a shock to me. For a first time I learned that keeping up arrow pressed all the time is not a solution. Also when I switched to manual gearbox mode. Good times.
When I had my first driving lessons instructor asked me why the fuck am I flooring poor Fiat Uno as soon as I reached middle point of every corner. I thought that's the way it should be done.

THE FUCKING ATMOSPHERE. Literally perfectly crafted masterpiece. Amount of creativity and effort put there is amazing. Graphics are quite good for 2004 year.

The PAL case art was a lot cooler than that
Still play it to this day. There has never been another game like it and the modding community is amazing.
