Back in the old days, they used to make road trip comedy movies. And each one featured a scene with some old fart blocking the road. Then, all the trucks would pass him on both sides. And when the dust cleared, there would be nothing left but that geezer sitting in the road, holding a steering wheel. I don't know what model car they used to use. But if that was filmed today, it would be a Subaru.

That's the FA20. What Subaru should do is stick the FA20 (or a 2.5l version) into the STi.

Making it quicker than stock is, and has always been up to the owner. The aftermarket support for FA and EJ engines is huge.
