If you wanna use it, it seemed to help clear things up when I was running VINs. I imagine all of this is applicable to using Carfax over AutoCheck, but definitely edit anything to reflect differences. And add anything if you think anything needs adding.

Ya know, if you even wanna use it.

>I am able to run US/Canadian VINs (anything with a fitting VIN; bikes, cars and so on) and US plates. For plates the same rules apply as VINs; 1981 or newer, US registered, and the plate and state are needed. Plates do work most of the time, but VINs are more reliable.
>Please remove hyphens (dashes) from VINs/plates - unless they happen to be part of a vanity plate. This makes copying and pasting easier.
>I can only run vehicles in/originally in the USA/Canada. If they've been exported from the USA/Canada, a report with their time here will be available. Not yet sure about imported cars.
>Vehicles need to be of the 1981 model year or newer. That's when standardized VINs began. Anything older simply cannot be run for a report.
>There are never I(i), O(o), nor Q(q) in VINs. This is to avoid confusion with 1 and 0. So if you are unsure, it is always 1 or 0 (not the case for classic cars, but they cannot be run anyway).

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately it turned out to be a rather rusty pile of poo. And the gas lid broke free from the hanger and really marred the paint up.

Drove really nice. Probably the nicest looking 4x4 Sport I've come across with the 5 speed. However, there was no fixing the damage hidden below. At least not at a reasonable cost. Offered them 1200 as I drove 3.5 hours after asking if it was clean underneath.

Hmm that's a shit change desu. You should consider using the integrated diigo saving method. It's one of the saving methods when you take a screenshot with awesomescreenshot, so it's pretty seamless. Gives you a URL to copy from the screenshot screen like normal (if you do not have the 'Private' box checked, so don't check it). It used to link directly to the full view, but now it goes to the diigo page where the full ss is one more click away.
You can see it by clicking 'More options' beneath the google+ option.
You'll need an account there, but that's free. And the free version allows for 500 images to be stored at a time. After that, you will have to delete older ones. That is, unless it fucks up and does what mine started doing and didn't stop me. I have well over 3K saved kek. Or if you wanted to, the cheapest subscription is $40/year and has no cap.

It worked well for me, and even with the free 500 cap, it's a lot less restricting than the new 30 cap.

Also, if it's no biggie for ya, would you mind running my truck? I am curious what, if anything, has been put on the report since I bought it. Only thing really might be the tree damage I had taken care of via insurance, but who knows.

Probably be picking it up tomorrow. Taking a little more experienced friend along that's an excellent negotiator.

No visible leaks, front end was repaired well or the accident was really minor, and rust is practically non existent. Suspension and steering components are rusty, but that's expected as I'm sure it was used in Michigan winter's.

Only complaints are
>Wheels
>Rear bumper on the passenger side doesn't line up perfectly, pushes back in nicely but slowly returns to being misaligned
>Handbrake boot came unglued
>Brake pads are less than 50% left
>Missing engine cover, STI pedals - although I kind of like them more than stock, I feel it tells a story of its past life; no visible aftermarket go fast parts besides pedals

Forgot how enjoyable it is not driving a soulless vehicle.

Just debating on whether or not I should gamble driving it home without knowing whether or not the timing belt has been addressed within the past 115k miles.
