My speedometer reads about 2mph slow, so putting tires with a 25.0" overall diameter vs the stock 24.9" might help that a bit. I run 205/45/R16 and 205/55/R16 under my miata. (nameless rubber, so probably shit)
Bigger wheels in the rear give me better mpg and less engine rpm when driving at speed. the 8% less torque is noticeable tho.
Have heard the wheel touch the rim a few times now.

Running 225/40ZR18 in front and 295/30ZR18 in the rear. Need new tires soon though, so might get a set of Pilot Sport Cup 2 in the same sizes.
