What are your favorite driving shoes?
I nominate the Saucony Jazz Low:
>Lightweight
>Comfy
>Super low ankle clearance
>Squared-off heel
>Flat sole
>One of the ugliest sneakers ever made, with no good colorways. Guaranteed no one else will have them and you can be a special snowflake.

Driving shoe needs a flat bottom. Converse All-Stars or old school Adidas are the only cool choices.
Also, Minnetonka Moccasins for driving land barges down American highways.
>>17172603
Bare feet or socks.
>>17172642
Takumi doesn't drive barefoot, he has NBs.

What are you some sort of barbarian?
>>17172654
>barbarian
The romans called my people like that, I am german...
>>17172660
Barbarian was a Greek insult for a non-Greek speaker. Their nonsensical words just sound like barbarbarbar...
>>17172654
>>17172642
Two legit reasons to drive barefoot, and I've done both.
>You are wearing sandals, and you take them off for safety.
>You are wearing cowboy boots and you cant fit them in the pedals.
>>17172650
>cheap
>comfy
>light
Are NB the best sneakers for poorfags?
>>17172671
>Barbarian was a Greek insult for a non-Greek speaker.
Later the romans adopted it and called everyon that didn´t speak latin like that...

There is a thrid reason: you have better throttle controll.
That is the reason why hypermilers ALWAYS drive barefoot and racing drivers use thin bottom shoes.
>>17172680
Racing shoes are still shoes though.
Hypermilers drive barefoot for the weight savings.

No, not all of them are that autistic...

I wore a pair of american eagle moccasins so much in my autotragic 6 cylinder 65 rustang that I actually wore a hole in my shoe.
I bought a pair of minnetonka driving moccasins for rolling the gears in my svtf my heel wore a hole in my floor mat and carpet I think...

this would match some very nice early 80s interiors
Ive used these for years, and they're great. Fit well on wider feet, and way cheaper than most other brands.

Those look tacky as fuck, wouldnotwear
>>17174247
Of course they do. I don't give two shirts when I'm karting or tracking.
>>17172672
NB is just generally the best sneaker around
>great quality
>cheap
>comfy
>not so ugly that you look like you have autism
>variety of styles
>light
>lots of ventilation
>>17174311
Eh, some of them can be pretty expensive. Like, over $100 expensive.
>>17174317
I have a couple of the expensive US and UK made ones.
I can say that for the price I paid (around £140) the quality is on par with my more expensive shoes that are about double the price.
The cheaper made in wherever pairs like the 574 and 300 which I bought for around £50 beat Nike and Adidas quality for a good £30-60 less.
I can highly recommend, not that Nike and Adidas make bad shoes, NB are just exceptional value.
OP I have a pair of Jazz low pros and they're damn fine footwear.
