Just learned today I am going to be inheriting a 2005 Ford freestyle. I'm not too car savvy, wanted to know any and all upgrades I can do atheistically and performance wise?

Tint, good all season tires, quality brake pads. That's it

>Atheistically
ROFL asthetically
>>17172132
What about a big front bumper and a light rack? Neon/cabin lights to match
>>17172157
keep it stock. grow the fuck up.
It's a Freestyle, don't waste your money. Keep it stock and maintain it normally.

whenever i see someone driving with shit leds in the dashboard or huge 20 inch rims i automatically assume they're a retard and i keep my car far away from them
-Boso pipes
-Whistle tips in muffler
-Remove head gasket to raise the compression ratio
-Sand the paint off and paint it in chalkboard material
Do these things and you will suffocate from all the pussy smothering you.

Mom had one. Actually fun to drive. Pissed ford killed it, was actually something nice even if it was a bulbous Volvo with a Ford badge. The CVT was smooth as butter.

Nothing too fucking excessive, just something to turn a glance
>>17172159
Unnecessary

The best upgrade I can recommend is to sell it and buy a better car.

My family had one of these cars and it was fine I guess. Rusted pretty quickly and was slow as ass. Either way let's get into mods you can't do first. It did have 18 cupholders though. More than 2 per person the car could hold.
>anything that gives you more than 10 hp
No the cvt will blow up in one second. Too fragile
>exhaust
No, the cvt holding it at revs will make any system drone terribly
>wheels
Don't be a nigger

So what can you do? Well idk let's see.
1.) A good quality aftermarket head unit and a set of speakers never hurt. No subs or any of that other nonsense though.
2.) Things that amplify your utility are good. A roof rack and attachments as well as a trailer hitch are fine (although I believe it can only tow 2500 pounds?)
3.) Xenon or led headlight conversion. Nothing colored or rice but just some high quality bright headlights.
4.) Keep the car clean and we'll maintained. When you get it do that standard host of fluids, plugs, filters, brakes, worn suspension components, belts, and so forth.
