if you are looking for albums, I recommend SEB 175 (imo the best selection of general eurobeat), Velfarre - Complete Best 1994-2006 Disc 4 (has proper mixes of songs 2, 3, 4), SEB 35, SEB 32, SEB 108

If you are looking for Intial D eurobeat, SEB 140, and disk two of SEB 175 do a good job. Of course there are the soundtracks as well, but I prefer these two.

Also, from my understanding, there are only like 5 or so people in the Eurobeat "business". A lot of those songs are by Maurizio Dejoro, under the aliases Max Coveri, Niko, Dejo, Edo Boys, among others. The other most prolific ones are Dave Rodgers, Mega NRG Man, and some girl who did most of the songs.

There is no real alternative as far as I'm aware. It's just that over the course of the years, jdownloader got extremely shitty. It didn't just stop being feasible for 90% of the applications I needed it for, it also caused me more problems than uses. Eventually my anti virus flagged it as potential malware and deleted it.
