Why are they so cheap?
Miles and maintenance they need
>11 year old car
>still costs $40k

I thought Bentley got better once VW bought them.
>>17165443
look at what you said
>>17165443
The same way Chrysler got better once Fiat bought them, yes.

Flood damage, accident damage, or engine damage.
FYI, replacing a damaged bottom end on this W12 engine (not common, but it does happen...) will cost you 60-70k. That's right...60-70k cost out the door at Bentley.
These are other-worlds cars...a different plane of existence than even an S-Class, but you'll pay dearly if it's a lemon.

I catch myself looking from time to time too. If I ever get one it is going to be a one owner car with good maintenance records. That sub-$30K piece of shit with 9 previous owners and 160,000 miles is just going to be a nightmare.

Why would I spend 70k on an engine when I can LS swap it for 500 dollars and an afternoon?
>>17166139
>LS swap
>500 dollars
Seriously?
I've got an 89 Mercedes E-Coupe I'd like to hire you to swap.

More importantly, you can get a used bottom end from a wrecked Phaeton or Audi A8.
Still though the W12 is a bitch to maintain. Thermostats cost $500 and other fun things.

Jaguars depreciate even faster

2012 Jaguar for $35k
It's so niggers can buy them and slap 32s on them.
>>17166192
Aren't those like 80k max new? Who the fuck would pay that much for a old Jag?
>>17166155
Sure thing my man. Meet me in the Autozone parking lot in an hour.
>>17166175
>Thermostats cost $500
I'd rather have the LS.
>>17165399
Maintenance is obvious but there's also the fact that these cars were overpriced to begin with based on marque alone
I personally love it because I'll be picking up an sl55 this year and I definitely won't pay more than 20-25k for it
>>17166253
the V6s are $75-80k, the V8s start at $90k msrp.
>>17165399
2006-9 were very bad years for Bentley. Plagued with expensive reliability issues. You'll pay 40k to keep it running.
