are bmw coupes capable of being fast?
Yes
The only non-M one that is is the E92 335i though
>>17165360
E46 330Ci tho
Yes, but you need to get a 335, debadge it, plastidip a few parts, buy some bolt ons, have gauged ears, an annoying exhaust, and pray that people actually mistake it for an M car

>are bmw coupes capable of being fast?
Yes as long as you get a m car or one with a turbo.

>6.8 sec 0-60
It's probably capable but it's hardly impressive as a starting point.
Plus, the Ci basically means "I couldn't afford an M car" unless you find a ZHP coded car, in which case it's at least an attempt even with its lackluster acceleration. Speaking of which, there's got to be something fucky with E46 gearboxes. The ZHP has a 0-60 of 5.1 but a quarter mile of 14.1? Doesn't add up. The car should be running low to mid 13's.

>only non-M one
You forgot the 135i mah nigga
>>17165419
if I got a 335 I'd badge it as a 328 then allow them to watch my 800hp N54 destroy their soul at the stoplight
Mines pretty slow
>>17165292
slower than camaros and cost more too
i mean, they sold you a 1998 design (E46) with some nig-rigging and without forced induction it did the ring in 7:50. Not bad, desu
>>17167499
This 1990 design 3 series coupe lapped the Ring (BTG) in 7:25, also naturally aspirated

I have a 97 540i with the 6 speed. I went to the drag strip this weekend and was one of the fastest car there besides turboed foxbodies and 335is. Met a bunch of bmw fanatics with m3s and such and they're all obsessed
Similar question, can BMWs get tuned?
Never really see anything about BMW mods.
>>17165445
normal 330is were 5-speed. zhps and m3s were 6-speeds
