There was a red FC 150 for sale for about $3000 near me that ran but didn't drive. I really wanted to pick it up and make it a project
Not very old but here's my 1986 Ford F-250.
saw a studebaker pickup once
didn't know they existed until then
So this jeep is for sale a few miles down the street from me at a used dealership.
>$1800
>350 swapped
>solid body and frame
>has like 4 shifters for some reason
>>17164927
First gen Sunday's?
>>17165082
This guy always has the weirdest shit on the corner of his lot, I've never seen him sell anything for more than $3500.
>>17165091
>goes to car lot
>takes photos of a old jeep
>disregards old coupe
>>17165082
>>17165091
Thats a Kaiser M715. Not a bad deal if it actually runs. Almost 100% chance the swap was done poorly and will need corrective fabrication though
how old is old?
>>17165108
Oh I didn't disregard it. It was tagged $2500 I believe.
41 Ford with a seized up flathead V8, looked mostly complete as it had the seats and glass in it.
>>17165112
I didn't get a pic of the interior but it had A LOT of walmart red wire that appeared to be jumpered all over the fucking place.
this is old, but not super old.
I would like to find something like this and fix it up if it needs fixing. Love old trucks with stepside beds. This one is pretty rare tho, a XLS edition.
>>17165160
Sounds about par for the course. I've looked at a few and same story, lots were used a fire trucks or as some kind of utility truck so they have a lot of cobbed together shit. If I found that truck in your pic near me and the guy would take $1500 I would do it, but I've been looking to build one from the frame up, not the kind of project that would be driveable/enjoyable with just a little work. Where is this truck? East coast?
Can I play?

>>17164927
Old enough for you?
1998, daily driven
>>17165178
New England, only thing turning me off to it is the SBC swap. No idea what trans is in it now and it has no previous registration or inspection sticker so I'm guessing it was a yard/plow truck and no one gave a shit about it.
>>17165200
the original engine was a cool one too. over head cam
can a van be a truck?
here is a rare one
factory dually cj5
only made them for 2 years
>>17165200
I've never seen one for sale that wasn't engine swapped aside from some military restoration ones and I've been looking for one for years, for a cheap truck you are better off with the SBC if you can fix whatever was done halfassedly
RARE
>>17164927
How old?
>>17165227
Does the axle still explode?
>>17165320

Sure.

so 60's american it hurts
My POS rebadged-Mazda that was Ford's attempt at a mini-truck. Been sitting a few years, but I'm ready to do a small block swap
I so damn wish mercedes would have produced this and mass sell it back in the time.
This dream will unfortunately never come true.
I'll dump what I can

In my honest IMHO opinion square front trucks with stepside beds usually look really ugly unless they're single cab short beds lowered as street trucks.
If only I wasn't dirt poor

Dumb questions what happened to International and why did they stop building trucks?
Am I doing this right?
>>17173859
Yeah man, you're doing it
>>17173846
they split apart. Navistar makes medium duty + semi trucks and Case- International harvester makes tractors. Before IH made everything from tractors to M1 Garands.
In sort a bunch of mergers/buyouts and selling off of profitable wings. The light truck/autodivision was never profitable iirc and was more of a "hey buy this while you get your tractor serviced" thing.
Onward to 400,000 km. First rust hole appeared this winter in my driver's side rear fender, going to cut it out and weld in some new metal later this month.
I have a crush on this little car here.

>>17183439
Sure thing.
It's a bit less pretty up close, and I think this pic was from before I polished and waxed it.

>>17183510
Das so sexy, is that like a light yellow or tan? And what year (F150 i assume)? I want to buy one exactly like that.

>>17183617
It's a light tan, ford called it 'light chamois'
It is actually a 1978 F100 and I s a total base model, no chrome trim on the side, 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the column.
The only paid options it has are power steering and the long bed. It doesn't even have a cigarette lighter.
>>17165379
>another just got mine running again edition
Fresh rebuild on the NP435 transmission and NP205 transfer case. So ready for some offroad action.
>>17174116
Is that a Cavalier? My first thought was Metro. Either way, not a ford.

>36 year old, 228K Tie Rods
So did it steer at all? Or did you have to use some form of differential aero braking to get it to turn?
I had a '86 GMC K20 with relatively new moog steering parts in it and it still drove like a dump truck.
pic related, my contribution. God damn I miss that old truck.
>>17187664

just old truck things
