Need some input /o/. Me and a couple of friends are doing a top gear style car competition. The theme is a luxury car for less than 5k and we are going to dd them and see who end up the happiest. The 2 I'm looking at are a 2000 328i and a 2005 C 320. Both are around 100k miles, manual, and are mechanically sound. Any ideas for others I should be looking at?

I've actually looked at 2 of them in the past and have never been impressed. Why would you choose that over BMW or Mercedes?

The best Lexus LS you can find.
Parts will be cheap, if you even need to replace any in the first place.
Smoothness and refinement are unrivaled among anything else from the same year, whatever year you get.

Hadn't really considered Lexus. Isn't it just a Toyota with premium trim?
This is the worst disguised wutkarisgud thread I have ever seen.you have $5000, buy a civic you fucking retard.

Not even asking about the couple I'd listed? Just looking for other ideas. Calm the fuck down

Technically yes, but unlike 15 year old German pieces of junk it won't start falling apart or be riddled with electrical gremlins.
>buying german past warranty
You only make this mistake once, go for it an learn your lesson.

Decent point

I'm pretty good with a wrench but I can see what you're talking about what with cost of parts

/thread.
The damn thing is a tank. But around here people are buying them and doing weird shit to them, which is making me sad.

That seems fun. I wish I had friends. My mom drives a 1999 mercedes e320 and not only is it comfy, but she does not maintain it at all and it had 250k on the odometer
