What does /o/ think of Top Gear?
stopped being funny in 2007
It was a good entertainment show, but it sucks now.
The Grand tour is okay but not the same.

Liked it when I was 20. That was 10 years ago.

It's great to get into car culture when you're young.
But Top Gear / TGTour is to cars what Late Night Show are to politics.
It's all entertainment.
While we're on about stupid guilty pleasure TV shows, I find Wheeler Dealers better.

Stopped caring about when Bush was still in his first term. I only actually enjoyed TG for a few years in the early-2000s. I then noticed a pattern of them simply sensationalizing their claims, intentionally acting stupid, and otherwise just perpetuating memes. Their shit just got old.

Top Gear was good but the new Affirmative Action Gear is just shit.
GT is meh, I'll still watch it but it's just not the same.
James May's Cars of the People is pretty good
