So I used to hear that M-B vehicles, especially AMG, were built for cruising near top speed for long distances on German roads. Does the same apply to the American market models or do they have shittier cooling because the highest speed limit in the country is a pussy ass 85mph?
Just wondering because if I ever had $200k to spend on a car I'd probably spend it on a Merc, and occasionally take long trips on the interstate.
The fuck. its the same shit

What are you, 16? ALL car manufacturers have at least slightly different mechanical designs between countries and especially continents.
>>17137041
you sound 16.
the only differences are emissions equipment 99% of the time. they aren't going to make a different model with smaller radiators or some shit just because it's sold in a different country. When you're cruising on the highway there is plenty of airflow to keep things cool anyway.

lel you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. FFS, only like 4 of the lines are the same between the US and GER. The rest are completely different models. And the ones that have the same model name are almost completely different.
Fuck off.
>shittier cooling
I dont think so, take into account California for example, warm-ass weather most of the year, coupled with terrible traffic, I dont think as a car manufacturer you would want to cheap out on cooling.

>only like 4 of the lines are the same between the US and GER

You should travel to Germany and actually drive innerorts und außerorts once so you know what the fuck youre talking about faggot.

My Hyundai Veloster regularly travels I95 at speeds in excess of 80mph.
Since when is this a feat that only nouveau riche cars designed for Saudi Arabia's middle class could do?
If I had $200K to spend on a long-haul highway trip vehicle it'd be a Merc, not OP's but the correct one.
