So my Montero Sport's tie rods finally gave in, steering wheel is fucked.
I was wondering if newer Mirages are decent pleb-movers for inner city driving? I want to get the stick shift model because CVT can suck my BIG FAT FUCKING DICK.
MSRP: $12,144.86
Also forgot to mention, 1 year lease, which I don't know yet.

Youcan find a used low mileage 2nd gen honda fit for that much or less if you dont give a fuckabout warranty
>>17131913
If you're buying shitboxes like this the warranty might be worth holding out for.
t. 2013 spark owner, bought new

>I was wondering if newer Mirages are decent pleb-movers for inner city driving?
This depends. Do you consider the 3 cylinder Geo Metro to be a decent city car?
>same power to weight ratio
>similar fuel economy
But the Mirage is definitely safer, so there's that. If you would consider a Metro on specs alone, sure, get a Mirage. If not, look at something more powerful. Like a Toyota Yaris.

Dude, it's a fucking tie rod. Just replace it. If it total shit just get a civic for 3k. No point in buying a new econobox.

Yes, but nothing beyond this.

Meme-spouting poorfag get out.

A 3k civic is better built than the mirage. It has a nicer interior and has more power. Even at 12-16 years old.
A used Honda Fit or Toyota Yaris would be a better buy.
If you're worried about a warranty, there are plenty of aftermarket ones to choose from.
I haven't owned a car under 280hp in about 5 years.
I want my next purchase to be a mirage though. I've test drove them a few times and had one as a loaner for a few days. I loved being able to floor it anywhere, still get 6l/100 and never break a speed limit.

>nicer interior
also lol takata

The plastics are nicer. Less hollow sounding and less flimsy.
>>17133031
they also make for better shrapnel.
>>17133507
Shut the fuck up. There's a recall and you can get them replaced in 45 minutes. Stop being a faggot.

>argues about recall
>likely still makes jokes about GM's ignition switch recalls
hypocrite.

Not even meme-ing anymore.
But why spend this much money when you could get something quite a bit more fun second hand for less?
Can someone explain buying new econoboxes?
>>17131865
For NEW: Nissan Versa has more BHP/torque and is less silly looking
For USED: a used Honda Fit is the ideal hatch
>>17133556
>tfw have honda and chevy and having to wait in stealerships for recalls because i dont want to die

hey you are actually not wrong, didn't know the facelifted that piece of shit but it does look better now for '17.
