What happen if you put 93 octane fuel into an econobox?
>>17115754
Money wasted. Don't fall for the premium gas meme unless your car actually needs it.
>>17115788
I just wanted to know if it'd catch on fire or something, I'm 100% fine with feeding it regular.
>>17115794
Nah, it'd run like normal. You might see like 0.01 percent more fuel efficiency but it won't even out the higher cost.
>>17115766
this, and you also increase the chances of microbial,/fungal contamination of the fuell system due to the cellulose based ethanol used to bump up the octane level.
>>17115754
You can advance the spark and get more power. Otherwise, nothing.

you're a fucking retard.
>>17115754
If it's a very new car it might automatically adjust the timing to get a bit more performance, but otherwise nothing.

Premium is usually E0.

what if it's an econobox with a turbocharger?

Are you in the US? If so, I suggest you look into that more. I heard somebody mention before that certain Shells will have zero ethanol in their 93 octane, but everywhere around me is "Up to 10% Ethanol" in every grade unless you do Rec 90 or whatever name they use. Actually fairly easy to find the zero ethanol near me if you know where since I'm in FL by the ocean and lots of people use it in their boats. But further west away from the water and boating crowd, there are only a couple places that have it.

No, I'm in Canada. Tbqh I don't actually know if it usually is, but I get it from Costco and it's definitely ethanol-free.
