trucks have become too big and expensive to be used for field work. now you have to buy overgrown golf carts to use as trucks.

You kinda do need these vehicles to be a little bit big so you can actually carry stuff. As for them getting bigger; like any vehicle they are affected by safety regulations

Well, I'm afraid that pretty much all new trucks will be "bloated" in your aspect, as the Colorado is just the same size as our eurotrucks, and there doesn't really exist anything smaller even here
Still... thats a pretty darned small garage if you cannot fit a Colorado in it
