I bought one of these, and holy shit is it nice.

What are your latest tool purchases?

did you just buy a glorified test light?
>>
I waited 2 years for these to go on sale
>>
>>17102955
more than a test light
>>
Shopvac micro, good strong sucker and it's small enough to to carry around to work in and around a car with. Only downside is the small diameter hose and relatively low capacty, but it's better than a standard household tank vac.

its a test light for morons

Last time I checked test lights can't power up circuits.

Power probes are godly when doing engine swaps, makes meshing the harness's easy as fuck.

I like it for small motors, too, especially power windows.

Is it worth it picking up a nice OBDII scanner?
For basic diagnoses and such?

A large, 5/16" punch

There are a lot of cheap code readers out there. I know anons here recommend a Bluetooth model found on eBay, but I can't remember which one.

t. weekend warrior

>>17102943

>didnt buy the hook
>probably owns a fluke

>>

Why not just buy a lower tier Fluke and do everything properly?
>>
>>17104151
The combined Irwin ones would be over $300 CDN. I paid $147 CDN taxes in and these come with a lifetime warranty.

Irwin used to make them for Snap On but since manufacturing went to China during the mid to late 2000's the quality control went to shit and Snap On uses someone else. Manufacturing for Irwin is back in the USA but the raw materials still originate from the same suppliers as before so be the judge for yourself.
