So I might be in the position to buy a 1967 Mustang with the 289. The only catch is if I'm to buy it is has to be my daily driver. What should I be worried about? Everything I see people complaining about on forums seems to be shit that wouldn't bother me.
People used to DD those every day when they were new, what's the difference?

Why stop there? Why not ppre 6 rotor? The second swap sounds like sound advice though.

1967 was 50 years ago. How many people were DDing 1917 cars in 1967? Or even 1947 cars?

Depends on the condition you buy the car. I drive a 69 coupe and ran into all the common problems with it ie. typical rust spots, cracking shock towers, wobbly windows, etc. If your 67 has already been restored, it really wont be too much different than maintaining any other used car. Otherwise, you'll need to do all the typical stuff like replacing rubber, fixing rust, maybe replacing brakes, etc.
Look up common issues with that year and inspect the car for those when you go to buy. Also test drive it with the windows both up and down to check rattles in the windows.
Also, if the wiring harness hasn't been replaced, it'll likely short on you at some point like it did to me. Stick a fire extinguisher in it as a precaution.

Not really heavy mods per say with a weekend and a little knowledge it's simple. Why you would switch the 6.4 l out for it though it's a good engine
I daily a 69 cutlass and have had no issues after 4 years of daily driving. Just keep regular maintenance and your good
I have a 66 Dart that i dd. It was a barn find and its in rough shape, but other than horendus mpg, it hasnt let me down yet.
