How much power is good for street driving?
No less than a pickup truck. So around 420.
>>17076063
How many chickens do you have? Post some other ones too.
500HP is ideal for a daily driver. <400 can get boring easily, >600 is becoming unusable in the real world.

Post chickenpucci

i'm at 455 and i want more. shooting for 550 to the wheels once the warranty is up.
>>17076063
It depends on the car. For a big GT cruiser or muscle car you would probably want somewhere at least between 200-300, but you can also have plenty of fun with a hot hatch with ~150hp.
>>17076063
Street? At least 350.
>>17076086
500 to 600 in a torque vectoring awd system is too much for regular road use
t. a person with a 550-600whp car
>>17076086
I agree with you 500hp is good on the street
300hp is good if fuel economy is your goal though
>>17076121
Your Scion tC does not have more than 150hp, even with the cold air intake. Before you continue to pretend you have an Evo, let's remind the thread that your youtube channel has 20 videos of you driving the tC, 0 of you driving an Evo (but does have one video taken by you of someone else revving one).

Are you the same Inu failing at launching a sticker store?
BTFO
tbqh, I have a lot more fun in cars that make less power and weigh nothing than a car with obscene power
GT86 and BRZ are still shit though

300 lb ft of torque for every 3000 pounds. Horsepower is not very important for street driving. The lower in the rev range the better
Op post chicken tendies or else

People drive Ford Model Ts with like 20bhp on modern highways

Your bus driver deals with that 600hp, not you

This. I get more than enough power out of the 20-valve 1.8L turbo 4 in my TT, but that's a 2-door sport coupe. Bigger car, you'll need more HP.
Truth be told, I'm convinced 90% of the normie drivers out there have no idea what their shitbox puts out. For a normie mobile low 200's is probably fine.
>>17076063
Depends on the size of the car.
100 hp for small cars
100-200 hp for larger cars
200-300 hp for large cars
Anything after 300 hp is extra. Torque should also be taken into consideration.

nah, a chicken is too young to have a crest
>>17076736
Chicken is the animal, it doesn't specify age or sex.
>>17076480
I generally judge based on weight as well. For every 1000 lbs I expect 100 BHP and lb/ft of torque. From there I calculate an average of 15% loss to the wheels. I like to have around 300-330 to the wheels, personally.
>>17076774
it does, look at a dictionary
chicken=less than 1 year old
cock=more than 1 year old male
hen=more than 1 year old female
