Why'd you leave the transmission in? In my experience it's a massive pain in the ass to mate it back with the engine so it's easier to just take both out together and put them both together once you're done.

I already replaced it, and its not that hard to put them back together, especially with a buddy helping. It took like 5 minutes to take the old one out and put the new one in. The worst part was fighting a stripped engine mount nut,

I'm not sure I'll be working on my car this weekend.

It's a '93 AE101, I bought it three weeks ago, and so far I did :

- timing belt & V-belts
- spark plugs & air filter
- ICV cleaning
- power steering flush
- new radio + speakers

And on the checklist there's still :

- oil change (current one looks good, but I still don't know exactly when it was last changed, it's more of a peace of mind item)
- brake flush
- having the bumpers repainted, and 3 pinhole sized chips in the paint repaired, the only rust spots on the whole car, I still need to find a good body work specialist, I don't have the skill for that, nor the proper equipment.

After that I should be set, but I'd like to spend at least one weekend just driving the car, instead of working on it somehow.

Trying to get my brakes working again. Bench bled the master cylinder, bled the brakelines, no leaks, still no significant improvment. Pedal still hits the floor before tires lock up.

Kind of at a loss to be honest.

I'm gonna do two jobs I've been putting off for awhile
The first isn't really that big but I know it's gonna be a pain to do, which is replacing the oil separator box/flame trap on my Volvos. Hopefully it'll stop them leaking oil.
The other is changing the Optispark on my Buick. I can only hope that it doesn't take the whole weekend to do it. Pray to god I don't somehow fuck it up and end up having to tear everything down again.

I got a drum brake I gotta do. Did one side and it took 6 fuckin hours no joke. The drum was coming off in chunks lmao. Not looking forward to the other side

Yo what would cause my gas pressure to drop the second i turn the car off? I can literally see the numbers drop with my obd2. I think it's fuel pump check valve or something, shame i have to drop the tank

Turning the car off would make your fuel pump shut off.
