That doesn't get anything above "high performance all-season" on Tirerack. Last time I bought tires from that category instead of my usual top category, I regretted it for several years - those tires sucked, but to add insult to injury tread life was much better.

I should add those miles were on Indiana highways which are basically never fucking paved properly

I run 185s on my miata. They didn't have 55s so I had to get 60s instead. I got bridgestone all seasons and they have been great for what I need it for (commuting).

Ive got that same HF jack, op. I think it was a good buy. And besides, it's for "racing."

Go 16. Prices jump dramatically every inch after that. I actually passed on a mazda sport wagon because it was running 18s and needed new tires. They priced at 120 more than 17s for the set with decent rubber.
