Ford has been losing sales to Chevy and Dodge in the fleet vehicle demographic because the V6 torbos aren't as dependable/people don't want to learn how to maintain them, hence the smaller Ranger to compete with the Colorado. The Ranger has to have a two door regular cab model for the same reason, so all they have to do to make the Bronco is put the shortest bed on the two door cab Ranger, cut out the back and put folding seats in the bed and a cap over it. They'll probably have a four door Bronco to compete with the four door Wrangler and to appeal to Dads, c'est la vie, but between the Escape, Edge, Explorer, and the C-Max, Ford has no reason or room to make another crossover.
