like, think of a bargain price for a 11 year old luxury car with 100k miles on it...and then double it
>every listing, consistently ~2x what would be normal in Texas or CA
What the hell? Is it the weed?
Hipsters have to pay their tech job loans some how.

You have to pay to get a job in tech?

what is supply and demand
>>17033472
Everything is generally more expensive in big popular cities like that. Also no income tax I believe.
If you came here expecting things to be cheap. You gonna have a bad time.
Seattle minimum wage is $15/hr, the mayor is a gay pedophile, car tabs now cost hundreds of dollars, 2nd highest gas tax, one of the states with the worst maintained roads. Why the hell did you move here?

Lexus LS's aren't exactly rare.
>>17033809
From what I've seen in Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston and Miami, Seattle is an outlier.
Are cars from the PNW known to be cherry or something?
>>17033824
I would never move there. Isn't it like Berkeley squared up there?
>>17033839
It's a hive mind so there isn't very many conflicts like Berkeley. I don't go to Seattle much. The rest of the state is alright but there isn't much usable land, it's overpopulated on the west side, ultra rich fags kinda destabilize the economy (we have Microsoft, Starbucks, and Amazon headquarters here just to name a few)
>>17033839
the SJ situation isn't actually that bad (rainbow crosswalks, but that's about it), but the taxes are ridiculous. We keep raising property taxes to pay for fucking retarded public transit projects. The roads have been carved up to make more room for cyclists. Everything is extremely expensive. Even shitty apartments are 1.3k+ per month. To top it all off, we have a 25% tax on ammunition, 10% tax on guns and a 2.75" restriction on folding knives. Even a fucking Opinel #9 is 3".
Weather is great though, so is the food
>>17033890
also, things are going to get worse if trump pours defense dollarydoos down Boeing's asshole, we'll get even more urban sprawl and upzoning
>>17033890
>Weather is great
It fucking sucks this year. Just enough rain to ruin every car meet and track day so far.
>>17033904
The civilian side isn't doing so well. They're doing layoffs in Everett.

Everett's basically owned by Boeing,
Boeing has layoffs constantly
>>17033831
They aren't known to be super nice, it's really the opposite. If you don't take care of your car in the pnw that close to the water they rust out super fast so cars in good condition end up being more expensive.
t. 200 miles north of Seattle.
Also side note, the people in King county ruin the whole state because their population is big enough that whatever way they vote the whole state goes that way.

Moss and mold too
