I don't normally eat in my car except during long road trips. Even then, it's usually a rental.

That said, I get things that can keep me awake with the act of putting in my mouth and chewing. PF Goldfish crackers work well as well as Big League chew.

Mamba is good but I usually freeze them before taking them with me on the road.

Dinner mints are my go-to, just steal a large handful from diners and stow them in the glove compartment, leaves a nice minty smell too. Oh and of course carry a case of water in the trunk so I can enjoy some nice brisk mint water.
