How fucked am I in regards to premiums from now on? Is it true that without comprehensive you have to pay the other person's excess when youre at fault and are basically fucked?

Car also may be written off. It's insured for $3,600. People have told me that I can pick and choose what gets fixed on the car so as to keep it as a repairable write off eg only fix stuff like the radiator and other rego affecting stuff.

If my car is written off I'll have $8,000-9000 to potentially spend on a car. I'm leaning towards a miata or mr2 but that means spending at least $5,000. my gut tells me that i should get a shitbox for $1,000 to $3,000 to last me till December 2018 when I'm able to go for my fulls and then get something nice.

Shit situation but fingers crossed my car has damage for <3,600 so I'm only out of pocket for the smallest amount to be back on the roads.

3rd party property you pay excess and only have their car repaired

If you only have CTP insurance it will.only cover for injuries to their person.

If they have insurance and they claim, you will pay the full amount it costs to repair their car. You dont just pay their excess.

Hey boys, i've got a vy v6 manual.
It's been diagnosed with a stuffed thrust bearing since whenever I clutch in, the shitty noise goes away

Anyway, so I'm always hearing clunks and shit whenever I bring the clutch out or shift in lower gears.
What could this be? I'm thinking play in the diff or driveshaft. Mechanic told me a while back there is a bit play in the diff so maybe it's that.
