Are the roads you're driving on made of concrete by any chance? I also drive a Prius and I noticed that on the concrete highways where I'm living, the car gets really shaky at around 70 mph, but if I go either slower or faster it's smooth again. Seems to be some wierd thing with the suspension not liking the unevenness at that certain speed

Yuuup. I've got all 3 cylinders ringing in over 100 plenty of times, but if there is too much wind resistance it'll hold the car back. It's kinda spoopy because the car is so light and on 4 inch wide tires from the factory so it tends to wobble and glide with the air around it. Especially overtaking semi trucks (lorry's for you bongs). But its got a super slippery design and tall gears. I think 2nd gets me into 50mph range at redline.

Even when you floor it you still make around 30mpg. It's clever as fuck getting around 50mpg all motor. Which means it's simpler and easier parts to repair down the road than a expensive and complicated hybrid system. You can probably supercharge it, bit it would be dangerous to turbo since the cylinder walls are so thin between cylinders.

I have a P9 Starlet. It's not fast by any means but it's quite nimble and quick in urban areas. It's basically a god tier tiny shitbox. Simple as hell and dat Toyota realiability. I've driven it in so many conditions, even offroad. It always pulls through.

Hard to find 80's rwd Starlets though. At least here in Finland those things have been amateur rally cannon fodder for years. Actually finding an unfucked specimen would be a miracle. And it would cost a shit ton of money.
