After working in automotive R&D for a while, modern performance cars don't really excite me in the same way as shitboxes do.

Sure, you feel G-forces all the same, but everything is dampened to the point that it's comfortable and everything is oddly firm.

The F cars are really good when you look at the track times compared to other vehicles. For example, the track time difference between the M4 and RC-F was a quarter of a second which is pretty good considering the RC-F weighs 400lbs more than the M4.


Now for the IS-F, I can't wait for the new one to come out, if anything Toyota has been successful with their experiments and has come very close to beating their competition. I won't trade in my IS-F because it's just a subtle car in traffic but I am excited to see what the new IS-F will be like.
