Monza is the smart people's AE 86 desu. More power and nicer design for one third of the price.

The Omega I want.
I really miss this understeering pig.
It sat quite happily at 90 mph surprisingly, how me and her spend most of our time.

no wait, it's a LS3 engine
>>17019059
for britbongs and strayans yeah, but they didn't have the same grill the opel one was ""fancy"" mate.
>>17019092
Holy shit i wished, no, it was the base spec 1.6i 5MT and it was very very much fwd.
I hit full gas at every redlight because i used to be a chav and had bald tires and no money for new ones, so when it rained it understeered all over the place.
I money shifted that car, i actually ripped out the driveshafts after doing "drifts" in reverse too..
Oh god, that car was my personal teenage wasteland.
I'm gonna buy one
oh what fun we had with these.

Is the Opel Omega the Crown Vic of Europe?
>RWD
>+200hp petrol V6 available
>BMW diesel straight 6 from the E39 525d available
>2k€ for a well kept V6 with <100kmiles
>quite sturdy and sufficiently reliable to assume DD duties, apart from rust in the rear fenders and some engines drinking oil
>wagon version (Caravan) is gigantic, sedan version has more than enough space for 4 adults on a trip
>spare parts available everywhere
>no "I know what I've got barely broken in ran when parked can still do half a million miles" boomer owners
>no Mercedes reliability or BMW driftability tax
>>17022508
du bist ein großer typ
>>17022722
Yes it is, but Opels Image is in dirt especially for these gens so nobody buys them
>>17022722
it has no V8, but you get manuals and wagon versions, so that's cool
>>17022722
yes
>used as (military-)police vehicle

I keep forgetting that the Omega is actually RWD and seems like most others do too
>>17024688
how can you forget
look at this thing, FWD on a 1.6 ton luxury sedan is retarded

apparently not in these modern times anymore

I think the Insignia is a good successor.
If I had one I'd be autistically tempted to replace Insignia with Omega on the rear
>>17042369
true, the insignia is a good car.
especially the OPC is very very nice.
