I found a cheap $800 6 cylinder fiero on craigslist, the only con is that it jerks a lot when accelerating. Low miles, no frame rust. Is this a relatively easy fix (vacuum lines possibly?) or should I steer far away from this money sink? The owner tried replacing intake/valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and wires, and the fuel filter and none of that helped.
Here's a video I was sent of the problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lA9fVJvt5mc

3800 s.c. swap
Could a few things.
Could be moisture in the disributor cap, a vacuum leak somewhere, or a fucked throttle body sensor.

Guys I'd like to keep the stock engine for now since I currently have no means to swap it, any advice for fixing up the v6?

Could the tranny be fucked?

Thanks, all of these are cheap and relatively easy to do myself if I'm not mistaken?

It's auto so possibly. It's hard to tell just from the shaky video they sent. I'd drive it before buying it because it's not worth it to replace the transmission

does it free rev fine ? might be as easy as the knock sensor

Fuel pump maybe? Or The MA sensor? Can't you just go by and scan it
