Well commercially on the grey market they sell pods dried by weight. I got those off a website. Storing and shipping when wet would leave them all moldy and rancid and you'd get ripped-off with water-weight. The best vendors lance small holes in them to facilitate the drying process. I've never taken meth and have no bias for it (though I have taken many analogs of it and other amphetamines), but I think that's bullshit for several reasons despite what wikipedia may say. This is convenient as it takes 1-2 months to fully recover from long-term drug use and it just so happens that the gov't, drug corporations, and gov't contractors will not fund researchers who release a single study that says drugs aren't bad (heck, in the US it is technically illegal for the FDA to accept a study that says schedule 1 drugs [LSD, cannabis, heroin] aren't bad for you in any way - oddly, meth is only schedule 2). Because scientific research is a competitive arena, the money goes to researchers who can fudge their studies to "prove" that drugs are bad for you. Many "neurotoxicity" studies have been independently re-tested to show completely different results, and studies like the famous late-90s MDMA brain-holes ones have been recreated (but with increased time) to show that brains recover 100%. It's hard to describe, and I'm high on it right now, though only like a 4/10 atm.

Physically, it makes you pretty sedated - similar to being stoned but different. If you take enough you get "on the nod" and have waves of sedation where you start getting sleepy. It's easy to just fall asleep or pass out, which is why I generally take adderall with it, but generally (unless you just take WAY too much) you have full motor control as if you were sober. It also obviously takes any pain you have away so your body feels very cozy and malleable.

Mentally, you're sedated obviously. But you can daydream really easily, and... It doesn't "fuck you up" like alcohol or anything and you don't have trouble focusing on shit like a noob on weed... but you get this 'zen' vibe. You feel happy, but it's subtle, it's just like all your concerns in life don't matter and all the shit that pisses you off is just fine - all that matters is you feel cozy and that you are enjoying yourself right now - your concerns about some bad event that could happen soon just fade away. It also makes music more enjoyable, but it doesn't make it sound "deeper" or "more textural" like with weed.

It makes me want to go take a walk by the lake with some headphones on and just take it easy.
