Help. I thought steel wheels aren't supposed to seize?

stand infront of it
kick back at it with your boot
or use a sledge hammer like a pussy from behind
omg you actually fell for the winter tire meme. its fucked m8..
>>16992327
dafuq you doing
>>16992331
Seconding. Kick it, or hammer with a block of wood to cushion it
>get sledge hammer
>position it so you can hit the other side of the tire under the axle
>smash that shit like one of those carnival games
Bitch should fly off and put a hole in your wall.

I've been kicking and punching it man. It's not coming off. I'm gonna try adding another piece of wood block and lowering it again.
I don't have a sledge hammer. I barely have any clearance in my single car garage anyway.

I wouldn't be able to make it up the hill home if I didn't have winter tires.
Fuck. Still not coming off.

Next time; rub a thin layer of grease where the wheel connections to rotor/drum
Why is it resting on the stone?
Also, those tires look fucking terrible
>>16992431
Why is it on that brick?
Leave it in the air and wiggle it.
They're good year winter tires. They work OK.
I'm trying to use the stone to apply torque to the wheel to try to get it to come loose.
My brother told me only alloy wheels seize so I didn't use any antiseize... Never had this problem with my previous car either.
Finally got the bitch off by kicking it hard from the inside. And the car didn't even collapse on me.
I'm smearing grease on this shit this time.

Use mayo works even better
Mix some acetone and atf. Shake it well and pour it on. Acetone will act as a carrier for the atf. Or melt a candle on it.
next time just loosen the lugnuts a little(turn or so) and drive it a few feet. The wheel will pop loose from the hub and then jack it up and replace.
BTW grease(in that application) is for idiots. CLEAN the debris/rust from all surfaces then use a very thin coat of anti-seize.
You're welcome.

I put a thick coat of anti seize on. Enough to saturate the surface. Is that bad?

>I wouldn't be able to make it up the hill home if I didn't have winter tires.
It's called a beater car
>nice car stays in the garage. Garb car has shit tires on year round.

>And the car didn't even collapse on me.
Wow, you actually took that risk?
You were better off just resting it down and rocking the car side to side or putting the bolts back on semi slack and driving a couple feet.
You could have been dead.
During tire changeover season I like to use my good Ole Ingersoll Rand 231G impact gun as a sledgehammer.
> Take off all nuts
> Screw one on a few turns so the wheel doesn't go flying into the car beside it
>swing gun into rubber tire at bottom or 6 o'clock
>rotate wheel 180° and repeat previous step
Works 95% of the time.
After that I donkey kick it or use a pry bar between the rim and lower control arm whatever is solid enough.
After that tighten the lug nuts or bolts back on really hard with the impact gun and soak the hub and rim mating points with peneratrating oil.
