can /o/ help me?
So i want to get a bike, never had one before. I've already got a 68 charger project car and Im just getting out of a heavily modded raptor so Im looking for something fun and easy that I can just crank up and ride when i want to.
Should i buy a factory bike, if so what kind? Should I buy a built one, if so what price range. Im really just looking for any info I can get here, my favorite bikes that I've seen are the bobber style with the seat lower than the tank but nothing too extreme.

If you want a bobber but dont want to wrench, Triumph, Harley, Indian, and Japanese Manufacturers all have a bike that is easy to Bob out.

Older bikes are much more maintainence intensive than new ones.

I'm looking at the triumph bobber they have now. Back in the day my old man rode a triumph across all of europe and north africa. Maybe one day I'll build one but like i said Ive already got a project and Im just a student

Youd be better served on a cheaper bike then, of triumphs are not cheap, even the old ones.

Used Jap bikes will be cheap and reliable.

A cheap way to go would be a Yamaha Virago or Honda Shadow or similar and build it.
The one in OP picture is a good example of Yamaha bobber, as it is a XV1100(Virago).

Triumph, Harley, and metric is like calling out every company ever, so not a whole heap of help imo.

Op, go with an older (mid 2000s) fuel injected metric bike. Easy as fuck to bob, plenty of parts that are cheap, hence the mid 2k, and no carb means no real fucking around with anything.

Craigslist will be your best friend for the bike, eBay for the parts.
