I do. What I'm asking is what mods I should give it. Engine swap? Turbo? Supercharger? Trying to make it a sleeper.
take it to a scarp yard
you could probably get at most $200 out of it
>>16986451
Why, it runs fine. I could get +$2,000 if I sold it at my local dealer.
>>16986451
Plus, it was my first car. Kinda sentimental.
Dunno? Drive it? Maintain it well? You aint racing anybody with it.

Alllllllll of this
>>16986477
Umm it's GT aka Gran Turismo. It can be built into a great car I'm sure.
>>16986477
Why not? I've seen people race old Civics. Plus, it has the same stock HP as a 2001 Miata. Why wouldn't it be a good weekend rally car?
>>16986420
this
>>16986420
Get a dashcam and ride around and post videos on youtube for /o/
>>16986463
the thing isn't worth that unless it had low miles and was in perfect condition
>>16986505
bad suspension, no power and terrible handling
sell it and buy a good Hyundai
>>16986547
It's got 90,000 miles on it and has no real problems besides a squeeky belt.
>>16986560
So like a 03-08 Tib?
>>16986570
06-07 sonata with a v6
the only good car Hyundai has made
>>16986560
You can give it more power, better handling, and better suspension right? It it can be done to old Civics then why can't it be done to an old Elantra?
>>16986587
short answer yes
long answer NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Civics ahs great handling out of the box, elantras didn't have it at all, plus no one wants to mod a girly shitbox
just be glad you have a car that runs well and just enjoy it as is
>>16986598
Ok, lets say I sell it for $2,500, what car should I replace it with?
>>16986630
3k civic
but i doubt anyone would buy it for that much
>>16986641
I said $2,500 because one at my local dealer sold for $3,000.
>>16986655
if you are happy with the car, keep it
if it drives and runs fine, I see no reason in selling it
>>16986662
I'm probably not going to sell it. All I'm asking is if it would be worth putting on new coils and adding a turbo or swaping the engine.
>>16986692
I don't think you have an idea of how much something like those cost
>>16986718
3k-7k?
>>16986420
Keep your car stock, drive it as is, and save the money you were gonna spend on tasteless mods and spend it on a cool car. Elantra's are supposed to be just normal, boring commuter cars. Just be glad it's in as nice of a condition as it is
