Hey /o/ question:
Im in the market for a 75 FL. Still has the original radio and no DIN slot. Since I don't want to ruin the metal dash board with a hacksaw, are there smaller-than-DIN radios? Ones without head unit? I honestly got no clue how far 2017s car radios are but I would be perfectly happy with something small that has a USB slot, volume control and two buttons for skipping. No real need for a display. Is there something like that out there??

Of course I'm in the market for a 75 F100 but the auto correct thought that FL was much more fitting
Yes, just get an amp with an RCA in and don't bother with a head unit at all

Isn't the head unit exactly what you're looking for..?

Get one of these and hide the controller underneath the dash or something.

Actually im looking for a head unit that ain't a head unit. At least not a regular sized one but something that can be hidden somewhere

Ain't there anything smaller? Don't need 400w

I actually have one of these (the Redondo). It looks period/stealthy, so no one will steal it, it even comes with an AM dial overlay for the display. Has Bluetooth, USB and Aux in pigtails.
That Kenwood amp mentioned above is incapable of USB audio. Most of those bluetooth remote amps don't do playback through USB.
