So my DeLorean is being stubborn. Fairly sure it is suffering from a vacuum leak as it won't idle though it runs fine at speed or as long as I give it enough gas to keep going.
That said, I ran it at idle to 2500rpm for a good hour today. It especially appreciated a few 7500k redline throat clearings though I am sure my neighbors hated me for it.
I need to get it out on the road a bit more even with the idle issue but didn't feel like to today.
thanks for sharing
What a piece of trash. Can you even reach 70 in it?

When this baby hits 88mph, you're going to see some serious shit.
>>16980246
I've hit 90....and I thought I was about to die. DeLoreans are deathmobiles but I still love mine.

Not with that Renault transmission, you won't.

>I've hit 90....
Did you see the serious shit tho
>>16980276
Yes. It tried to kill me as I said.
>>16980267
how big was the hill you were going down?

> when you realize the whole 'Back to the Future' movies were just someones life passing before their eyes

I can manage that going up the hill if its long enough. The old PRV engines are slow, but reliable and solid.

Find any ancient potatoes jammed inside the engine bay?
>>16980341
Nah, just some crack in the body cavities.

Those spam cans of nagant food

Joking aside. It is cool that the car was built in Ireland. Just one of those unique historical facts.

Is the front end a different color than the rest of the car, or is it just the lighting?
>>16980369
It's interesting, but they really are poorly put together cars. Asymmetrical panel gaps are very common on DMC-12s.
>>16980371
The front and rear bumper are painted silver so they always appear different.
>>16980353
Yep

Very. Always dealing with fitting issues to this day.
