Fact is, if your car is riddled with useless technology and luxuries it's not a real sports car. Look at Type R's if you want to see what a sports car should be. The S2000 is probably the best balance between sports and luxury. You get comfy leather interior, push button start, open top etc but also a race-spec engine that revs all the way to 9k and a chassis inspired by racing cars. Lotus is also a good example. And of course, a lightly modded AE86. GT86 on the other hand is tainted by modern design trash and thus is garbage

These are the 3 boxes the majority of performance, super-sport, and exotic cars don't check usually because the manufacturer cut costs on weight or increased the size of the wheelbase to allow for taller drivers (think horse jockeys on race horses).
