So for work I travel a lot abroad, places like Bermuda and I see a lot of these tiny kei vans. (Yes I also saw the RCR review)
I've kind of fallen in love with them and I'm considering importing one. Specifically an early 90's Honda Acty Van.
Do we have any Acty owners? Trying to get some opinions/pros/cons and things I should know first before I take the plunge. I might use it for local work but it'd be mostly for fun, not exactly a daily. Maybe a weekend thing.

They overheat.
Save yourself a massive haedache and don't import one yourself, get one that's already imported

Yeah, I probably should've been specific. I've read it's a a real pain doing it yourself, so I was going to have a local import shop do it for me. Definitely don't want to touch that myself. I'd rather buy one that's already been imported but the damn things are like unicorns.

When you try to drive over 100kmh maybe.
t. owned one kei truck and one kei van while stationed in Okinawa
if you're yuropeen, there are already rebadged ones so no need to import, also muh lhd

Op here and yeah from my research they top out at 60mph maybe 70mph. The poor thing only has like 40hp.

>Shilling Japanese classics
Hey doug
where the fuck do you import kei vans?
Why don't you just buy what is good in your country?
Is mean fuck. In Bermuda and all the other small islands in the West Indies they buy those because they are cheap and get the job done.
A Suzuki carry, while efficient and cheap in the islands, is more akin to a lwb e350 in the states. In fact in pure numeration it is probably cheaper to purchase an e350 in the states than it is a carry in Bermuda

What the fuck are you even a car enthusiast?
