I had a loaner new C300. The piano black was covered in fingerprints by the end of the day, and the iPad on the dash was just something to laugh at.

That being said, the new car has a TON more interior room than the W204. Especially in the front passenger seat and the rear seats. The sunroof is also huge in comparison.

And it drives every bit as well as the older model.

Yes, I have. It looks pampered, but the quality is subpar. The mid console is flimsy plastic, the buttons are paint-covered plastic and arranged completely afunctionally and illogicaly, the screen is awful and the infotainment itself and controls were apparently designed by a 12 year old and are easily worst in class. The only reason you'd think this is nice is if you haven't actually driven one of those.

S-Class owner here, the instrument cluster and the GPS are really nice, they dont mess with the lines of the dash and blend seamlessly into the interior.

The burl walnut trim is gorgeous and doesn't attract as many fingerprints as you would think.

It also has the HUD which 10x classier than the GPS info iPad.
