Will this control arm eventually kill me?
>>16932421
eh. How much is a lower control arm for this shitbox anyways? Can't be much.
>>16932441
It also needs a set of tires and front struts, so I've gotta do some triage. Since i'll probably have to do an alignment after the struts or arm, should I just bite the bullet and do both at once?
Smack it with a hammer if it makes you feel better

You gotta replace struts in pairs anyways. I mean, if you care how it rides. You won't need an alignment after a strut replacement, and I highly doubt you have camber adjustment in your control arm. Chances are you won't need one. You could do this in your driveway. Order some cheap parts from rock auto or something.

Alright, I'll look into the parts I'll need.
Thank you /o/ for not being autistic like most boards.

Go to junk yard and pick one up in decent condition
I don't need a brand new part which will be Chinese knockoff
Honestly I'd be more worried about your subframe turning into candy while driving on the highway one day.
What made/model?
And it makes you feel any better, LCA's on macpherson vehicles are non-load bearing.

If you're short on money you could always weld on something there, provided the car still pulls straight and all. L beam looks like it could fit well.
