The clutch won't engage. I used to have to put fluid in and pump it a few times to get it to engage if it sat fow awhile. I haven't started it in a few months and now I put in fluid, I pump it and the fluid doesn't go down. And the clutch pedal goes straight to the ground with hardly any effort. Any thoughts?
And if you give me shit for owning a stealth you can go fuck yourself
Maybe your master cylinder is toast?
>>16930529

METAL GEAR?
More pictures of the stealth
You ran the master cylinder dry. You need to take it out of the car and bench bleed it so it will work again. While your at it just fix the fucking leak.

Well that sucks
>>16930686
Yup.
Enjoy!

Other way around, the Dodge is actually a Mitsu.
>>16930865
damn, i didn't know that, are there more mitshidodgus?
>>16930855
It's the same exact car as a 3000GT, built in the same Factory in Japan. Vr4 motor. It's a DSM, like the talons. In the early nineties the Dodge Stealth was going to be the pace car for the Indianapolis 500. But because it was a foreign car, a lot of people didn't like that, so Dodge whipped together the Dodge Viper for that reason
>>16930882
I learned something today, thank god they made the viper.
Shame there is no dodgubishi lancer evo though
>>16930620
>You need to take it out of the car and bench bleed it
Try bleeding the whole system through the slave first. But there probably is a leak somewhere.
>>16930529
>Buying a manual
There's your first mistake
Also, I can't find clutch fluid leaking anywhere
>>16930771
try plugging this port
>>16930927
They never made an automatic VR4
>>16930941
What is it?
Mabey I bumped it off?

>>16930972

Mechanical linkages work
Does the pedal go up again by itself?
I'd try bleeding the slave first
I got the clutch to work. What do I do about the driveshaft now?
>>16931509
>Dem shitty Primewell tires.
I'm sorry brother.
>>16931509
Pull it and take it to a driveline shop, hella cheap.

Master cylinder leaks. Had the same issue in my Prelude. Should replace it as well as the slave since you'll be bleeding the clutch anyway ASAP.
Also, it's a fucking Stealth lol.
>>16930771
Oh jezuz what the fuck
>>16931921
It broke at the yoke. Fucked

>>16930529
Had this when I changed the clutch fluid in my father's Avensis. The problem was that there was a shitload of air inside the tube. You must get rid of that air.
I don't exactly remember how i did it but you should probably open the cylinder valve and pump it like there's no tomorrow. Also probably a good idea would be to have the engine running when you do that.
