>>16921140
I like the way you think anon
>>16921226
Yes. You need to lead us into battle against German cars
>>16921066
I've driven that.
It was shit.
Fucking germans making a fun car as unfun as humanly possible.
Handling was decent tho.

>>16923853
That's not the point, even if you're right.
I had a Seat Ibiza, which costs a half that gti, with automatic climate control as STANDARD.
But you know, as is a Volkswagen (even Audi applies too) they have to milk their customers which are too poor to add the option.
The OP probably is going to eat bread and water for at least 36 months.
>>16923866
An Ibiza is a different car though (cheaper Polo, not a Golf) and maybe they're both from different generations, where yours was newer so those came with aytomatic climate control as standard?
I don't know, just guessing. Jewery is just as, if not more, likely.
>>16923866
>Buys a car ~30% cheaper than the Golf
>Calls Golf owners poor
Lolwut
Also, why is it whenever you see any Seat product for sale it always has a list of shit that has just been replaced. Clearly that shit isn't built to last. Almost as though they are building cars with lots of features, badly and selling them cheap.
>>16923909
>Clearly that shit isn't built to last.
It's literally partsbin VAG stuff.

Built in the same factory as this tragic piece of shit
>>16923909
That car, at the moment I took the photo, had 3 years.
It's basically a rebadged Polo with not so fancy interior finish, but the build is of the same quality.
Who cares, what matters is that I paid that car 14.000€ when for the same equipped Polo with the same engine (1.2 TSI) I was asked 18.700€ (included discount) at the dealer.

Lumia 1020 for the precision, it only says that I have good taste when it comes to camera phones.

The Seat is produced at the Martorell Seat Plant, in Spain...among with some Audi models.

>basically a rebadged Polo
Lmao. Look at the interior of the Ibiza and compare it to the Polo. It looks nothing like a Polo, carbon mirrors - dafuq? Why does a front engined, front wheel drive car with 70bhp have a rear lip?
An example of rebadging would be the GT86/BRZ
>>16924021
Are you retarded or a troll?
The Polo, Audi A1, Skoda Fabia and Seat Ibiza are all the SAME rebadged car.
Also I already said that it's a 1.2 TSI with the astonishng power of 105 brake horsepower.
What you see is called "light" customization, and to me it looks like a nice work.

Well at least I didn't use carbon 3M films and related shit.
I made them water transfer printed.

If I got tired, in no time I could have had them repainted in red.

Gif related: the mirror caps after the paint job
>>16924528
Not a big fan of the water transfer prints DESU - that's what they use in the current gen WRX's and it looks kinda funky. I'd rather use the chinese "5D" vinyl wraps.

Looking for a first car at the moment, but want to go on a roadtrip to mainland europe with a couple of friends. Does the Ibiza 2008- have much in the way of rear legroom and headroom? My friends are 6 footers
>>16921234
What is this even supposed to mean
>>16928701
Unless you're more than 4 people in the car, the rear space is golden.
>>16921066
Does the shifter fit?
>>16928717
what engine do you recommend? leaning towards the 1.2 for insurance purposes
>>16928724
If the car is a 2008 model avoid the 1.2 TSI unless the engine did EVERY single recall at the timing belt, the wastegate and some other shit. Of course avoid the DSG without questions.
My car was a MY2012 and was the last model with the 8 valves 1.2 TSI because as of today the 1.2 TSI ha 16 valves and 110 hp.
This engine is possibly the best engine for this car because the alternatives are the diesels (aka the dieselgate engines) and the utterly shit unreliable 1.4 TSI twincharged with the 100% failure rate DSG7.
My suggestion is: look for a restyling model (like ex mine) 1.2 TSI, manual and FR. They're cheap.
>>16928417
>kids or in college
Nah. I'm almost 23 and live with parents to not pay SF-market rent.
>>16928782
Looks like I'll have to get the 1.4 then, my budget is only £3k so only the pre-facelift model is in budget

Hmm...that NA vag engine is shit anon, and old.
I'd suggest something similar: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Grande-Punto-Sporting-T-jet-/201865120640?hash=item2f00194b80:g:P8gAAOSwCU1Y1QJR
>>16928925
Similar reliability compared to the Seat?
>>16928937
Tjet engines are reliable and compared to the vag 1.4 they're way better
>>16924021
its funny because ibiza interior look way better than that shit
>>16928604
its funny how the earlier models had a digital clock then they changed to to analogue for the later models.
