Well... "sports car" traditionally refers to a lightweight RWD 2-seater designed for minimizing speed loss through corners.

WRXs and STis are "sports sedans" as anon above pointed out.

Seriously, a 300 hp 4 cylinder is less efficient than a 5000 pound escalade with a 450hp 6 liter v8. I'm all for the sti but the engineers need to make a better engine asap
