My wife loves her V8 'stang. And I don't mind it myself, but honestly I don't feel the need to drive a V8 myself. I rarely do straight line speed runs beyond 130mph, and getting there is just as easy in either of my Nissan 3.0l V6's (VG&VQ) as it is in my wife's 4.6l Mod motor.
The 4banger of the house can't best 86mph (muh 90hp + 3spd auto w/o OD) though. I can't hate on launching the Mustang though, the additional torque makes that jump so smooth you feel like you only mashed the accelerator, conversely either of my V6's feel like your on a rocket and slam you deep into the seat on the chirp.
