Japanese Plates- Why?

in my yuro country it's illegal to have any kind of plates other than gubmit issued ones

also why? i imagine the driver is a massive weeb and wants to show off his virginity, jap plates aren't even nice looking

I think OP lives in Straya where they now offer JDM style plates and Euro style plates in several states, if not nationwide.

Well I was gonna say my car but anon did already.

I don't really get why people do it, I guess it's just cool to them, I can't help but laugh when the plate doesn't match the car it's on though (i.e. 500 plate on a Lexus LS400, yellow plate on a FD, etc). I left my front plate on my car though, so SC plate out back and that Y plate up front (have the other hanging on the wall in the garage).

VicRoads has them, I plan on getting Jap license plates pretty soon.

Though they aren't "real" license plates, but they have the same design as Japanese ones.
