Why did Acura stop making manuals?

Because people stupid enough to buy a double priced Honda with leather are probably too stupid to manual

Same reason BMW is phasing them out and GM killed the CTSV manual
There's no demand for a manual in a luxury lineup, and since the NSX is supposed to be cutting edge it has to use a cutting edge DCT
besides all that, Acura makes a damn good DCT, it really hits the medium between commute and track day

They're more like 110% Honda, but that 10% goes into the engine and interiors.

Not really. I admit that it has a better engine, better suspension, better interior quality, etc... but come on dude. The interior and exterior looks bland. I can get why its so cheap to get an Acura these days compared to Lexus now.

The only great thing about Acura exteriors currently are the LED "gem" headlights, otherwise they're extremely blase. The top of the line looks almost identical to the entry level ILX.

The interiors are also fuck-awful.

I'd say RSX Type-S was. It was small enough so being FWD didn't spoil it that much.

CL Type-S also was manufactured with a clutch, but that was a very strange and impolite clutch, and it was a weird combination.

Theyve intentionally made manuals available for stripper base penalty boxes. You used to be able to get a civic with manual and leather, then they did away with that combo where youd have to get a ilx. Now theyre just on penalty boxes or a sti but eventually theyll add a dsg to stis and get rid of manuals completely in penalty boxes replaced with cvt.
