TFW in engineering class, class autist has early 2000s avalanche which is constantly broken. I ask kid about avalanche he says its in for timing belt change, attempt to explain to him that chevy trucks use pushrod v8 engines which use chains, autist chimps out and starts screeching about how his has a v10 and timing belts not chains, me and another guy start explaining that GM doesn't make V10s, kid gets angrier and starts yelling that his is actually a brand new prototype that theyre actually hiding and that's why it's in the shop. Why do people do this /o/?
I want a gm small block v10 desu
itd still get btfo by snek v10

Is this a first year class? There's no way you're talking about a sophomore or junior
yes it is, he's bashed his head on tables and walls and broken his new laptop all in this year.
GM has made I8, V12, and V16 engines. I don't know of any V10.
Ford and Chrysler both used V10s in trucks and SUVs. Swapping one of those in, isn't outside the realm of possibility. Just outside the realm of probability.

Ford's v10 is utter trash so you can rule that option out. Fucking SSTO spark plugs.

>why do people do this

You answered the question.

>implying there is a single ford v10 still running

Just drove a uhaul van with one. Also generator at work has one, like 250kw or something insane, 6.8 V10.

>>16878209
Because it's simple. People are idiots

>Somehow it's implausible for the truck to have a Ford V10, when it's literally in the shop for engine trouble.
