While bobtail, yeah you can be a shit cunt and get away with shit clutch control, it still shock loads the driveline, but is nowhere near the force of doing so while loaded it still causes damage but not significantly. In the wet while bobtail, dropping the clutch means fun and banging through the gears 2 at a time. If you exercise proper clutch control in the wet while bobtail, there is no loss of traction.
