Because I have no car at all for the time being. Let me explain and ask a few questions as I am a complete noob.

Had my mind set on a 2008 saturn aura. loved the interior and it drove great with awesome mileage compared to my broken ass jeep. took it for a test drive back to my dad who used to be a mechanic. we looked through the codes and found two "major" faults.

1. Air pressure sensors on the front left and back right were reading wrong. the front left was actually not reading at all. the guy told me he had just installed a new sensor there and needed to use the key fob to configure it so the car would recognize it?? but said key fob was broken. looked like someone had sautered the shit for some reason

2. Code #p0014 Exhaust Camshaft Position: Could manually change the angle of the camshaft from my scan tool so I'm honestly not sure what is wrong in this department

My main question is: should I have bought the shit anyways and done the repairs? I could have bought the shit for only 3k and I've been pissed off all night that it didn't work out. What do yall think?

Because my clutch master cylinder blew out and I don't feel like wearing my starter out prematurely to go somewhere other than an auto parts store, and they're all out of stock anyway.
